I’m setting up a quick giveaway tied to the next issue of the Reddheads newsletter (expected on or around Monday, April 13th). On the day the issue is sent out I’ll add a trivia question to this post that can only be answered by those who have read the newsletter. The first person to provide the correct answer will receive 50,000 RDD.
If you’d like to participate be sure to sign up for the newsletter here if you haven’t already done so.
A big thanks to reddibrek and bigreddmachine for the newsletter and special thanks to ReddcoinRocks for providing a very generous donation that will be used for this and future giveaways
Good thing I get my emails sent right to my phone too
I should have mentioned - I probably won’t get the question added right away, it may take a few hours or longer depending on when the issue is sent out.

GrayPhoenix Oooh, ooh, can I play too??
Only if you can slip a special announcement into the newsletter stating that Redd-ID “GrayPhoenix” has been permanently reserved for yours truly
The current plan: Browser wallet first, then mobile wallets, then the Core QT wallet
Yes, that’s correct! Congratulations strerd!! Please go to ‘Profile’ > ‘Settings’ and then enter your reddcoin address or post it in this thread so I can send you your prize!
According to the current development plan, Redd-ID username authentication will be first implemented in which wallet???
Just to clarify, I was talking about authentication of social media accounts. The Qt wallet will obviously have a full implementation of the Redd-ID blockchain-level protocol. But it probably makes most sense for the browser wallet to verify that a connected twitter account has been authenticated before the Qt wallet is capable of that.
Makes sense - working the other way would likely give rise to issues and confusion. New users like myself (and new RDD adoptees) will be more comfortable seeing its use in a familiar setting.
I’ve only gotten into cryptocurrencies in the last month and the things occurring in the blockchain is 50% clever coding and 50% wizardry in my mind.
bigreddmachine Oops, that’s clear from reading the newsletter. I reread that part out of context while looking for a trivia question. Thanks for clarifying BRM.
