Sent RDD to new wallet and havent recieved them

No, I meant “Reddcoin:2”.
These are the peers running the old version (Reddcoin Core v2), instead of the mandatory new version (Reddcoin Core v3).

If you haven’t seen any with “Reddcoin:2”, that’s good.
You were connected with 8 “Reddcoin:3” peers, so all your peers were on the new version.
Excellent.

So, is your blockchain fully synced?
(I was going to tell you how to speed up the syncing, but if you let Reddcoin Core sync, that’s also fine.)

What are your questions?

Still unable to sync. I was away for a few days I apologize. After not finding any Reddcoin:2 it was still 10 weeks behind after a day. Its open and loading now reading 11 weeks behind i will let you know if this changes. What would be the next step?

When the sync is finished, you can create a new transaction.
When sending, please use the instructions from earlier: Sent RDD to new wallet and havent recieved them.

What is the status of your sync?

Still at 11 weeks after a full day

sorry for delayed response usually busy during day. I really appreciate you staying with me here hoping to get to the bottom of it ill send a tip your way.

Would you be OK with me helping you remotely via the internet? It would make it much easier to solve your issue, as I would be able to see your screen and do the steps for you. We can use a software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

I’ve helped someone yesterday that also had issues with syncing. After looking into it with AnyDesk, the issue was OneDrive. The user was downloading the blockchain to a folder that was being synced/uploaded at the same to OneDrive, causing issues. Selecting a different folder fixed the issue.

I’ll bet that is the issue!! I am not to smart with these computers and ive stored a bunch of old pictures on this pc and feel like i over loaded it. I constantly see something about OneDrive. I would agree to sharing my PC screen with you. Will you be able to control my PC or just see it? what time would you like to link up?

Do you use Telegram (chat app).
It makes communication easier.

If you use it, I can share my Telegram account info with you, and we can continue there to discuss a time and date for TeamViewer or AnyDesk. And yes, I can/will be able to control your PC (only if you agree with that of course).

I do have telegram @aquanaut8932 although I do feel vulnerable if you will be able to control my computer. Can you zoom and walk me through it if I share my screen? to complex? I’ve never uused TeamViewer or AnyDesk and am not sure of their credibility? You have been extremely helpful so far but need to take caution here. I have lots of valuable info on my pc

I am available for the next couple hrs

Different time zones; I’m from Europe, so I was sleeping when you said you were available. :P.

I understand that you are cautious, that’s the healthy/correct attitude.

I have been helping others for a while now, and have starting doing so via the official Reddcoin helpdesk. You can send in your issue to help@reddcoin.com, and you’ll see that I will be the one replying to you.

TeamViewer is a well-known software for remote assistance. There is a version, TeamViewer Quicksupporr, that works without installing anything, so that’s why I prefer it. Some people already have AnyDesk installed, so that’s an alternative that’s also fine for me.

Zoom is more of a video conference tool than a remote assistance tool. It has had many security flaws, which is one of the reasons I am not using Zoom. I just read that it also works in the browser, so it should work without me installing something first. It can be an option, but it’s not what I prefer.

And to be honest with you: I would rather do the steps for you. It is the quickest way, and also easier for me. I can give you the instructions on what to do, but that will take longer as I will need to write out all the steps. If you still want to do the steps yourself with me instructing what to do, that’s also fine by me.

I’ll be contacting you via Telegram.
