- I don’t know anything about how you install the programs.
- I don’t know which settings you use.
- I won’t know the folder structure on your computer.
- I have no idea what you mean when you say “old wallet”.
- I have no access to your computer. The only thing I know of your computer and files are what you tell me. When you say “old wallet”, I have no idea what ‘old’ is, where this ‘old wallet’ is installted’, what settings Reddcoin Core uses.
I can’t help you if you just ignore my questions.
I also can’t help you if you just decide to do random stuff - like opening an old wallet - and expect me to know what’s going on on your computer…
I have suggested helping you via TeamViewer. You have decided that you would rather have instructions, but to help you with instructions I need to understand what’s going on on your computer.
So, please answer these questions:
-
There are two versions of Reddcoin Core for Windows: 32-bit and 64-bit. Which versions is installed on your computer? What do you see when you search for ‘Reddcoin’ in the Start Menu?
-
I am seeing a ‘Reddcoin’ folder on your H: drive (LaCie). This is your “old wallet”?
-
What are the other locations that you have installed Reddcoin Core? Is there a “new wallet”?
What I am trying to find: your Reddcoin data folder(s).
By default, this folder is located in %AppData%\Reddcoin
, but in your case, you might have selected a custom location…
