PS: I’m almost certain that it is no digital currency, mostly because people recognize the form of payment and react with emotion to it. (Like hugs, kisses, singing or something for the camera…) What I call paying in genres instead of money.

But could be the first step to adopption of a new form of payments to younger audiences…

Let’s keep an eye on it.

Hmm it has to be something that every person has at hand… something ridiculous, but something that would help bring people to mcdonalds… Everyone pretty much has a smartphone… it could be tweets? But I don’t think the older folks would do that… Plus it might take too much time to do. It also needs to be easy to do in your car for drive throughs… Aaah I want to solve this hahah The only thing I can think of is to take your phone and take a picture of something… like “That would be one selfie of you in mcdonalds”

“Randomly accepting” is the key phrase in the video. That means it’s almost certainly a publicity stunt. Judging by their recent ad campaigns I would guess that they’re asking for a hug as payment.
