Hi Reddcoin devs!
I have noticed that when synchronising my wallet on a large (but slow) mechanical hard drive the UI tends to grey out for a number of minutes whilst blocks are being validated and saved to disk. Surely they synchronisation / chain download code should be in a separate thread to the GUI code in the client to avoid these sorts of issues - is this something we could change / update in the Wallet UI to make things a bit more responsive?
