Hey Reddheads - Hope you’re having a great holiday. Its been our goal to get the browser wallet out for you all before christmas. To that end, its been a busy several days on my end. Unfortunately, things aren’t completely seamless yet. The compiled version is giving some errors I wasn’t getting on my development version.
Nonetheless, I think you guys are anxious to try it out, so please read the very important info below, then give it a spin.
Unspendable accounts are currently actually unspendable. I’ll add the ability to transfer funds out of there shortly. For now, don’t use that account.
Back up your seed. Your seed is your money so don’t lose that. As long as you have your seed, your coins can be recovered.
Don’t store a significant sum of money on the browser wallet right now. This is a public BETA, not a final release. Issues are expected. Be safe with your money.
If you have some troubles with a transaction showing up, you can go to the settings, delete your wallet, and then re-import it with your seed.
Please do report all issues - I’ll be working through the break to get a more polished version ready.

Glad its working so far! I added an address. It doesn’t let us put HTML so no tip button. We’ll see if we can enable that later. There are some test links here I think all of those go to me too
Hey, I didn´t install the Electrum wallet. When I click the icon the Reddcoin core client opens. Is there a way that the Reddwallet opens up? That´s the one I usually work with.
tralf Is there a place to post bugreports? I found an issue in the wallet creation process. The browser wallet is generating seeds with 12 words but windows electrum wallet requires 15 words. It is thereby not possible to import wallets that are created with the browser wallet into the windows wallet.

ReddcoinRocks Other Reddcoin Electrum desktop wallets are all deprecated at the moment. Please send any RDD out of them if there is any and stop using them. This is not a bug of the browser wallet.
laudney thanks for this information. should this be announced somewhere and is there any risk of loosing coins to those who are currently using the electrum wallet? it is still downloadable at https://wallet.reddcoin.com/
One question though - how do I move coins between accounts inside the wallet? I’m being warned that I have too much money in my tip jar but I’m not sure how to move it to a secure address (other than copy/paste the address & send)

Same problem, I have all my coins in the Undependable section and cant move them to the tip jar - hows do you do it? Excellent wallet otherwise
finitered Whoops, I should have mentioned the transfer interface isn’t ready yet. I’ll try to implement a quick fix to release unspendable funds later today or tomorrow.
